Through My Eyes ~ Grainger Gallery
March 2025
'Through My Eyes' opens on 13th March at 6pm, and will be running alongside a beautiful selection of other artist's collections showing across the main and upstairs gallery spaces.
A common narrative that tends to run throughout my paintings is of self-love, acceptance, and inner strength. This is something that I have always struggled with and I think this is why it has become a focus for me in my artworks. I find inspiration and strength in these paintings and I hope that others can too.
These unique little eye floral pieces are becoming a beautiful little constant in my arts practice. I am enjoying making my own floral arrangements and combining them with different eyes as well as fruits and bugs, inspired by the dutch master floral painters. My garden at home is now a sea of flowers that I keep adding to, to create these little gems.
