Artist’s Statement

I am a painter and draughtswoman based in Sydney. My work is based on strong drawing skills and Renaissance painting techniques.
My subjects are mainly Portraiture and Still Life, though other ideas creep in from time to time- like my very popular bird works.
I paint mainly in oils on canvas or wood panel, draw on heavy arches paper and also create mixed media painting /drawings .
