Biography

Jenna Caspary is a Sydney-based artist whose work captures the fleeting beauty of nature through large-scale floral compositions. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UNSW Art & Design (2020) and has expanded her practice through mentorships with esteemed artists, including Jane Guthleben and Kevin McKay. Her achievements include an internship in New York (2018), winning the Summer School Scholarship at The Julian Ashton Art School (awarded through the Mosman Youth Art Prize in 2019), and having her work featured in House & Garden magazine. Her paintings are held in private collections across Australia, the USA, the UK, and South Africa.

Jenna’s practice is rooted in oil painting on raw linen, a choice that highlights the delicate interplay between intricate florals and negative space. She brings a contemporary edge to her work by incorporating playful, wallpaper-inspired backgrounds or introducing elements like bees, adding layers of symbolism and movement.
