Biography

Ann Maree lives in Canberra, Australia.

Inspired by nature and working directly from life, her work explores timeless themes through a careful observation of form and light, using the oil painting techniques of the Classical, Realist and Impressionist traditions.

Ann Maree was a finalist in the 15th International ARC Salon in the Plein Air category. She has also been a finalist in a number of national art prizes including the EMSLA, the Mosman Prize, the Mandorla Prize, the Kilgour prize, and the Lethbridge.
