As Canberra bursts into colour for the annual Floriade Festival, Granger Gallery presents Full Bloom, a vibrant art exhibition exploring the poetic intersection of floral beauty and science.
Floriade, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest celebration of spring, transforms the capital into a floral wonderland. In harmony with this seasonal spectacle, Full Bloom brings the bloom indoors — inviting audiences to experience flowers not only as symbols of natural beauty, but as complex biological systems and carriers of meaning.
Featuring a diverse group of contemporary artists, the exhibition features painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media.
This is a show for flower-lovers, science-enthusiasts, and curious minds alike, a sensory-rich companion to the bloom
filled gardens of Floriade. As petals open across the city, Full Bloom invites you to look deeper, think broader, and celebrate the incredible life systems that flourish around and within us.
